Language courses in Bavaria

The Free State of Bavaria and the Bavarian Higher Education Center for Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe (BAYHOST) will sponsor scholarships for German language courses in 2022.

Students and young scientists from all disciplines from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia, Russia and Ukraine, whose knowledge of German is at least B1 level, can apply for scholarships.

At the time of application, students must have completed at least 2 full semesters at a higher education institution. Scholarships for courses in Bavaria cover the costs of tuition, accommodation and meals, or the cost of the course in the case of an online course.

The application is done by filling in the application form on the BAYHOST website and sending the entire documentation to the address:
