Scholarship Programme for Young Researchers
The COIMBRA Group universities provide young researchers from higher education institutions in the European Neighborhood with the opportunity for short research stays, with the aim of enabling them to conduct research in which they are engaged at their home institution and help them expand their network of academic and research contacts.
Scholarships are funded by COIMBRA Group member universities participating in this program.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- born on 1 January 1987 or later;
- academic staff at universities or equivalent higher education institutions in Serbia;
- to have the status of a postdoctoral fellow, (although some institutions may also offer residency opportunities to doctoral students).
Important notes:
Candidates can choose only one institution. If you apply to more than one institution at the same time, your application will not be considered valid.
Applicants must provide the name and contact details of the academic supervisor at the host university and provide proof of acceptance (letter or email), which they attach to the application form.

- University of Iasi - Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (Romania)
- Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland)
- Catholic University of Leuven - KU Leuven (Belgium)
- University of Padua (Italy)
- University of Poitiers (France)
- University of Salamanca (Spain)
- University of Siena (Italy)
Candidates will be able to register online until midnight on April 15, 2022 (Brussels time).
